They Might Be Giants Video Bootleg Project

In December of 1995, the TMBG mailing list was busy with people discussing the TMBG television appearances that they had seen, and which ones they had videotaped. I had never seen any of these appearances, except for one on "Good Morning". But I had two video recorders, and I knew how to connect them together.
So I conceived the idea that everyone would send me their tapes, I would make a compilation, and send everyone a copy of it. Then we all could see these wonderful performances and interviews.

Now, over 1000 tapes later, the plan is a success. Except that the first two master tapes have worn out. I'm now acquiring the equipment to make this a digital process. A digital master won't wear out, and perhaps I can even make digital copies on DVD-R disc. Watch this spot for more information ...
